How does Choraphor™ work?

How strong should I make the application?

Choraphor™ comes in concentrated solution and you can control how weak or strong you would like the stinging sensation to be upon application.

If you find that the application stings too much you can add more drops of water and less drops of Choraphor™until the solution is at a strength that is comfortable for you.

Please keep in mind that for Choraphor™ to be effective a mild to strong stinging sensation may still be felt, .

Safety:

Are there any side-effects?

Choraphor™ What makes Choraphor™ even more safe is that it is not an internal product; the solution is applied in one easy application during the outbreak. When applied, a sharp tingling sensation is expected. A mild to sharp stinging sensation should be felt as the Choraphor works on the area. This feeling is not pleasant but it is short in duration and may result in virtually full skin appearance recovery after outbreaks. Choraphor™ must be used for skin application only (topical application only.) A skin sensitivity test must always be carried out prior to use to see if any unusual reaction occurs. If undue irritation or sensitivity does occur please discontinue use and consult your doctor.

What are the ingredients in Choraphor™?

Choraphor™ is Sulphate based, with trace metals in an aqueous herbal base.

Choraphor™ contains St. John's Wort, also known as Hypericum Perforatum.

Choraphor™ is not a preventative medicine and cannot be used to prevent infection, re-infection or transmission. Choraphor™ is not a substitute or a replacement for seeing a qualified doctor for diagnosis and medical treatment.

Can Choraphor™ be used if I'm pregnant?

No. Choraphor™ is not recommended to be used during pregnancy not because there has been any adverse findings but because of the sensitivity of the fetus to any form of chemical exposure.

What if I have an allergy to sulfur based medications?

Choraphor™ does contain sulfur, however, it is not taken internally.

Choraphor™ is applied to the skin in a single application and only a few drops of the solution are required (approximately 2 to 5 drops). .

Because Choraphor™ is applied externally onto the skin, using only a minute quantity of the solution, it is unlikely that it would cause any allergic reaction as it Choraphor™ is a topically applied solution and contains only safe and natural ingredients.

The solution is made up of three main components, one being organic (Hypericum perforatum) and two being inorganic (the ammoniated acid and copper sulphate in deionized water).

In rare cases an individual may be sensitive. A skin sensitivity test should always be performed to ensure sensitivity is not a problem.

To test the solution, first wash and dry the delicate skin on the inside of your elbow. Mix one drop of water with one drop of Choraphor™ and apply to the skin on the inside of your elbow. Do not wash the solution off for 48 hours. If there is any sign of redness or irritation at the site within 48 hours do not use the Choraphor™, return the full vial to us within seven days for a refund.
